Meet the Farmer (& Gardener) behind Flaming Acres Dahlias...
Let each generation tell its children of your mighty acts; let them proclaim your power. Psalm 145:4
Hello, Friends — Old and New!
We wanted to share a heartfelt update with you. After prayerful consideration, we’ve decided to keep the farm restful and closed to the public in 2025. This peaceful pause will help us nurture the dahlias, expand our fields, and prepare for a future we know will be worth the wait.
This fall’s harvest is officially complete, and we’re humbled to share that our entire 2025–26 tuber stock has sold out. Every last tuber is now tucked away for winter, labeled, sorted, and resting until spring shipping begins. Your support—through subscriptions, encouragement, and enthusiasm for our blooms—has made this milestone truly incredible.
While the fields rest, we’re continuing to expand, refine, and reimagine the gardens. We’re updating photos, filming new videos, and preparing the varieties we hope to offer next year so you can browse, dream, and build your Wishlist for the season ahead.
A special blessing this year was the mentorship of Jim Lamsen of Ontario, Oregon, whose wisdom and generous donation of tubers helped strengthen our farm in countless ways. Thanks to his guidance, we now grow approximately 2,500 dahlia plants and over 200 stunning varieties—many of which will return to our catalog next year with refreshed images and updated details.
Thank you for your support over these past three years. Your encouragement has helped this little farm flourish in ways we never imagined. We’re so grateful for you—and so excited for what’s ahead.
With heartfelt thanks,
Dion & Debra Flaming
