Lutt Wichen Dahlia-Small in stature but overflowing with charm, Lutt Wichen is a delightful heirloom dahlia that has been enchanting gardens since 1941. This unusual little beauty breaks all the rules of traditional dahlia growing! Rather than reaching for the sky, Lutt Wichen spreads its branches outward, creating a lush, self-supporting mound of deep green foliage that can stretch 3 feet wide or more. Nestled among those beautiful leaves are abundant 3-inch, gardenia-like waterlily blooms that bring an old-fashioned elegance to the garden.
Standing just 2–3 feet tall, this charming dwarf is perfect for containers, garden borders, or anywhere a little extra floral magic is needed. With its generous flowering habit and wonderfully spreading form, Lutt Wichen proves that sometimes the smallest dahlias make the biggest impression!
