10 Beautiful Dahlias Worth Discovering!

October 19, 2026 | Flaming Acres Dahlias

Another Monday, Another Beautiful Surprise!

There's something especially exciting about Mondays at Flaming Acres Dahlias these days!

We're now into our second week of Harvest Mondays, and we're delighted to announce that 10 more beautiful dahlia varieties are joining our online shop!

Our fall harvest is moving right along, and we're encouraged by the wonderful tuber yields we're seeing this season. Each day, we're out in the fields digging, gathering, sorting, and carefully evaluating the tubers that have been growing beneath the soil all summer long.

It's a lot of work, but there's something incredibly satisfying about seeing what each variety has produced.

And sometimes, the harvest brings a few wonderful surprises!

From Our Fields to Your Garden

One of the reasons we introduced Harvest Mondays was to share newly available varieties as we work our way through the harvest.

Rather than waiting until every tuber has been dug and counted, we're evaluating each variety as it comes out of the ground. Once we know what we have available beyond our existing inventory, we can offer those additional tubers in our online shop.

This week's collection includes several varieties we've been especially eager to offer again!

Some have been available only in very limited quantities, while others have simply been difficult to keep in stock.

Although our overall harvest has been generous, the quantities of these particular dahlias are still limited. We're delighted to have enough to share!

Meet Our Week Two Dahlias!

We've selected ten beauties that offer something for almost every dahlia lover—from soft and romantic to bold, dramatic, and wonderfully unpredictable.

With its beautifully layered petals in dreamy shades of dusky pink and rose, Bacardi brings old-fashioned elegance to the garden. Its romantic coloring makes it especially lovely for bouquets and floral arrangements.

For gardeners who love something dramatic, Hollyhill Dragonfire brings an exciting display of fiery color and striking petals. This is one dahlia that certainly knows how to make an entrance!

With a name like Funhouse, you know you're in for something interesting! This colorful beauty brings a playful personality to the garden and is sure to attract attention.

Now here's a dahlia that really lives up to its name!

This fascinating variety from our friend Jim Lamson produces several different bloom variations on a single plant. Colors range from pale yellow to pink and violet, with some flowers showing delightful speckles and stripes.

Imagine having the excitement of several different dahlias growing from just one tuber! For gardeners with limited space, JL Guess What? offers something truly special.

Dating all the way back to 1941, Lutt Wichen is a delightful little dahlia with an unusual spreading habit.

Rather than growing tall, this charming dwarf forms a lush, self-supporting mound with abundant 3-inch waterlily blooms. It's a wonderful choice for containers, garden borders, and smaller growing spaces.

If you love large, impressive dahlias, Shiloh Noelle deserves a closer look. Its beautifully layered blooms bring a graceful, sophisticated presence to the garden.

There's something wonderfully peaceful about a beautiful white dahlia. Sterling Silver offers soft, luminous blooms that bring elegance and a lovely sense of calm to the garden.

Like the beautiful colors of a morning sunrise, Wanda's Aurora brings together glowing shades of yellow, peach, and pink. Its warm coloring makes it a delightful addition to summer and autumn gardens.

For those who love delicate, romantic flowers, Windhaven Blush is a beautiful choice. Its soft blush coloring adds a gentle touch to garden beds and makes it especially appealing for elegant floral arrangements.

Bright, cheerful, and full of personality, Zoey Rey brings a wonderful splash of yellow to the garden. It's the kind of flower that can brighten even the cloudiest day!

A Little Reminder About Availability

As much as we'd love to have an endless supply of every dahlia, that's simply not how farming works!

Each variety produces its own unique tuber yield, and we never know exactly what we'll have until we begin digging and evaluating.

These ten varieties are available in limited quantities, and some may sell out quickly.

If one of these beauties has been on your wish list, we encourage you to visit the online shop while it's available.

The Best Is Still Growing!

We're only beginning to discover everything this year's harvest has in store.

With thousands of tubers still making their way out of the ground, there are plenty of varieties left to evaluate and perhaps a few more surprises waiting beneath the soil.

That's what makes Harvest Mondays so much fun!

Every Monday brings another opportunity to share the beauty, variety, and excitement of growing dahlias.

Thank you for following along with our harvest adventures. We're grateful for another growing season, for the wonderful people who share our love of dahlias, and for the opportunity to send a little piece of Flaming Acres to gardens across the country.

Until next Monday...

Happy Dahlia Dreams!
